In Wonder Makers Environmental’s guide, spores are divided into categories related to their importance in water damaged buildings or where occupants report mold related health effects.  Wonder Makers Environmental’s book focuses more on spores which can grow indoors, with images and information on fungal types that are relevant to indoor mold issues.

Spores are all photographed at 1,000X magnification using oil immersion, so all distinguishing characteristics are visible.  Six identifying characteristics are listed for each important fungal spore type.

The WME guide is also not only an identification guide; it is also an information resource on fungal types.   It contains background information on the fungal types, where they are found outdoors, where and if they grow indoors, and possible health effects, including allergenicity, infection, and toxin production.
